Eoin Morgan Facts
He was raised in Rush.
Morgan inherited his cricketer’s trait from his father Jody who captained “Rush Cricket Club’s” Third XI team. He started learning to play the game at the same club.
His parents met one another in Dublin.
Morgan’s sister’s Laura and Gwen played cricket for Ireland, whereas his older brother’s Gareth and Gavin played for Leinster. However, as of April, Gareth was working as an engineer, Laura worked with PayPal, and Gwen was studying for a Ph.D.
His younger brother Evan did not follow his sibling’s footsteps and became a software engineer.
While in school, Eoin performed in 3 “Leinster Senior Schools Cup” champion teams.
During his tweenager years, he played a lot of hurling. This is also where he developed his incredible skills as a batsman.
It wasn’t until he joined Dulwich College that he found his passion to play for the England cricket team.
Growing up, Morgan practiced with his older brothers on the terrace in the St. Catherine housing estate.
