Jake Paul shows picture to prove video of him running away from Floyd Mayweather was a STAGED PR STU

Jake Paul has now said the viral video of him running away from Floyd Mayweather was a staged PR stunt, and produced a picture to prove it.

In a video that went viral at the start of last month, Mayweather and a large group confronted Paul after an NBA game in Miami.

The YouTuber-turned-boxer was filmed turning and running off into the distance rather than exchanging with the 50-0 legend and his gigantic bodyguards.

Paul gave his version of events at the time as he said: “So I’m leaving the Miami Heat game and Floyd Mayweather and 50 dudes pull up out of nowhere, out of like some side alley, waiting for me outside the stadium.

"And they’re like, ‘So what’s up? What’s all that talk now?’ I’m like first of all, what did I say to you, Floyd? I just took your hat and you’re still mad about it? Come on, bro.

"And then 50 dudes literally start surrounding me to jump me, and I’m out that b****, ok?”

He added: “You wanna run it one on one? No problem. But I’m not dumb. Okay?

"I’m tough, I don’t need to prove my toughness, but I’m not f***ing dumb. I’m not gonna sit there and try to fight 50 dudes.”

Now, a month on, he's given a very different story.

Paul explained on the Wade Concept: "We were like, 'Let's set this up and make this go viral.'

"We got exactly what we wanted out of it."

He then revealed a picture showing himself and Mayweather at dinner together, proving that they are indeed on better terms than people realise.
