Despite their bad breakup, Khloe had nothing but great things to say about her ex and baby daddy, Tristan Thompson in a newly-released bonus clip from the last season of KUWK. The reality TV star actually gushed over the basketball player and praised him for being ‘a great person’ and a great father to their daughter, True.
It sounds like the Keeping Up with the Kardashians celeb can’t get enough of how much Tristan loves their one year old and how amazing he treats her.
The mother of one was chatting with her pal and lawyer Laura Wasser on her Divorce Sucks podcast when she opened up more about their co-parenting.
Khloe also compared it all to her momager Kris Jenner and father Caitlyn Jenner since they are also separated.
‘I’m sure now that I’ve gone through it myself trying to co-parent, that they [Kris and Caitlyn] were so seamless with it. I never, ever heard my parents talking disrespectfully about each other. For me, True is only one and a month old so she does not really know what is happening. But to me, she does feel energy and I am a big believer in that. So I do everything in my power just to not put any heavy energy around her.’
She went on to talk about her co-parenting relationship with Tristan and rave about him as a dad: ‘As a kid, I didn’t know. My parents were really good at not letting us feel whatever they were going through. I want to give True the same thing. And I know her dad’s a great person, I know how much he loves and cares about her so I want him to be there.’
This reveal comes after one insider report also claimed to know that the way Tristan acts with their daughter has managed to ‘soften’ Khloe’s heart towards him.
