Rolling Stone's "45 Best Albums Of 2016 So Far" List Includes Fifth Harmony, The 1975, & More!
It’s unbelievable to think that we’re halfway through 2016 with many artists releasing records, singles, etc for people to hear worldwide. This celebration comes with Rolling Stone’s ’45 Best Albums Of 2016 So Far’ list which includes a multitude of albums from all different kinds of genres, musicians, etc.
With many more anxiously awaiting releases for the latter half of the year, it’s nice to see so many records already taking the world by storm.
Artists like The 1975 (I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It), Fifth Harmony (7/27) and Tegan & Sara (Love You to Death) made the list with their respective albums with Rolling Stone highly favoring the catchy production and lyrics. For example, in concentration on girl group Fifth Harmony’s 7/27 album, it notes:
The beats are mostly booming or bouncy and the swagger is all over the place. There’s nothing here as good as 2014’s “Bo$$,” but “That’s My Girl” bites its honking horns just fine and delivers a booming addendum to its empowering message: “Destiny said it, you got to get up and get it/Get mad independent, don’t you ever forget it.” The second Fifth Harmony LP isn’t a massive step forward, but with a constant bombardment of hooks, high energy and incredible harmony there’s not much time to catch your breath to compare.
