Tom Aspinall parents-British professional mixed martial artist, Thomas Paul Aspinall was born on April 11, 1993.

Aspinall was born in Leigh, Greater Manchester in the United Kingdom to Andy Aspinall who inspired him to venture into martial art.

Aspinall started learning Ju Jitsu at the Leigh Self Defense Studio in Leigh, Greater Manchester, at the age of seven, following in his father’s martial arts training footsteps.

Aspinall switched to Brazilian jiu-jitsu after previously practicing wrestling and boxing. With the exception of the black belt, he has won every Brazilian jiu-jitsu belt class at the British Open.

Aspinall developed an interest in mixed martial arts and eventually entered the sport after his father joined Team Kaobon as the jiu-jitsu coach.

Aspinall went from 5 feet 8 inches (1.73 m) to 6 feet 5 inches (1.96 m) in the year after his graduation from high school at the age of 16. This growth caused severe growing pains.

Aspinall returned to professional mixed martial arts after a 2.5-year absence by signing a five-fight contract with Cage Warriors.

The Ultimate Fighting Championship also offered Aspinall a contract, but he declined it because he didn’t feel ready for the company. Following two quick victories in Cage Warriors, he eventually joined the UFC.

Originally, Aspinall was supposed to make his promotional debut on March 21, 2020, at UFC Fight Night: Woodley vs. Edwards, against Raphael Pessoa.

Jake Collier was sent in to fight for injured Pessoa, but the COVID-19 epidemic forced the cancellation of this match.

The pairing was then maintained, and the contest took place at UFC on ESPN 14 on July 25, 2020. In round one, he used a technical knockout to win the match. With this victory, he was given the Performance of the Night prize.

Aspinall was supposed to face Sergey Spivak in his second UFC fight on October 11, 2020, at UFC Fight Night: Moraes vs. Sandhagen.

On February 20, 2021, at UFC Fight Night: Blaydes vs. Lewis, Aspinall took on Andrei Arlovski. In round two, he was submitted to win the bout. With this victory, he was given the Performance of the Night prize.

On September 4, 2021, Aspinall and Sergei Pavlovich were scheduled to square off at UFC Fight Night 191. Nevertheless, Sergey Spivak took Pavlovich’s spot on the card in late August after it was claimed that he had visa problems that made it difficult for him to go.

In the first round, Aspinall won by technical knockout. Aspinall received his third Performance of the Night Bonus Award thanks to the victory.

On March 19, 2022, Aspinall and Shamil Abdurakhimov were slated to square off at UFC Fight Night 204. On January 21, 2022, it was revealed that Alexander Volkov will defeat Aspinall.
